Two-Night Pediatric Oximetry
Overnight oximetry records oxygen saturation and pulse-rate patterns while your child sleeps. Testing across two nights can help identify recurrent oxygen fluctuations or patterns that may warrant further clinical review.
OPTIONAL UPGRADE
Oximetry + Capnography
When clinically appropriate, the study can be upgraded to include capnography using the Masimo Rad-97 platform, adding overnight carbon-dioxide and respiratory information to the oximetry data. This can provide a broader picture of nighttime ventilation.
Registered Respiratory Therapist Verification & Physician Reporting
Pediatric oximetry studies are reviewed with Respiratory Therapist oversight, and physician reporting is available as part of the clinical process. Our home-based approach helps families obtain useful overnight respiratory data without putting a child through unnecessary overnight hospital disruption.
Overnight oximetry is a screening and monitoring tool and does not replace a
comprehensive pediatric sleep study when one is clinically required. Test type
and follow-up should be based on the child's individual clinical circumstances.
