Evidence-informed home feasibility: A 90-day pilot study in COPD patients recently discharged after an exacerbation found daily home HFNT was feasible and well tolerated, with 28/30 completing 90 days and average use around 6.8 hours/day, supporting the practicality of home HFNT programs and motivating larger controlled trials. Ongoing clinical trials: A Phase III randomized controlled trial (NCT05204888) is evaluating home HFNT via myAirvo 3 + usual COPD care versus usual care alone, with outcomes focused on exacerbations and/or mortality endpoints. ClinicalTrials
