We exist to fill a critical gap in today’s healthcare system—offering services that are often missing, under-prioritized, or misunderstood. Whether it’s through accurate diagnostics, tailored CPAP and BiPAP therapy, or simply listening and responding to what our patients truly need, our vision is rooted in delivering meaningful care that empowers long-term change.
SleepEZ currently operates four convenient locations across the Ottawa region—in Kanata, Stittsville, Barrhaven and Arnprior— as well as offers Home Visit services for CPAP set ups, Pediatric Oximetry and Home Sleep Testing for surrounding areas such as Manotick, Smith Falls and Carleton Place.

Clinical Leadership with a Personal Touch
Founded by Rafael Mendonça, RRT, SleepEZ is built on more than a decade of respiratory therapy experience across hospital ICUs and home-care settings. Rafael’s personal journey with sleep-disordered breathing and his commitment to becoming a consistent CPAP user since 2022, gives him a unique blend of clinical precision and lived experience. He understands the early warning signs, the subtle shifts in health, and the importance of acting before symptoms take over.
Outside of his clinical work, Rafael lives what he teaches. He’s a dedicated social dancer, a passionate boxer, loves the outdoors, and someone who thrives in the gym. His lifestyle reflects his philosophy: proactive movement, proactive wellness, proactive sleep. He believes that well-being doesn’t start when something goes wrong - it starts with the daily habits that build resilience.
Through a structured, patient-first approach, Rafael has supported thousands of clients in optimizing their sleep, strengthening their energy, and reclaiming their vitality. He places particular focus on Women’s Health, recognizing the early hormonal and lifestyle patterns that influence sleep long before formal symptoms appear. Many patients feel seen, validated, and truly understood under his care—because Rafael doesn’t just wait for problems to arise. He helps people stay ahead of them.
