Important AirTouch F30i Magnet Warning
IMPORTANT: The ResMed AirTouch F30i contains magnets.
ResMed states that masks containing magnetic components are contraindicated for patients—or anyone who will be in close physical contact with the mask while it is being used—who have certain active medical implants or metallic implants that can be affected by magnets.
Examples identified by ResMed include certain pacemakers, implantable cardioverter-defibrillators, neurostimulators, CSF shunts, insulin or infusion pumps, aneurysm clips, certain stents, implanted hearing devices and other ferromagnetic implants.
ResMed instructs users to keep mask magnets at least 150 mm / approximately 6 inches away from susceptible implants or medical devices.
If you or your sleeping partner has an implanted medical device, consult the device manufacturer and your healthcare provider before using a mask containing magnets.
AirTouch F30i Cleaning & Maintenance
