Yuwell Pocket-X Travel CPAP Bundle with F&P Solo Nasal Mask Fit Pack
Ultra-portable CPAP therapy paired with Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's innovative AutoFit™ nasal mask — designed to simplify fitting with one-touch adjustment, AutoLock™ headgear and a compact under-the-nose nasal cushion.
The Yuwell Pocket-X Travel CPAP Bundle with F&P Solo Nasal Mask Fit Pack combines a lightweight CPAP/APAP machine with one of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's most innovative minimal-contact nasal masks.
Weighing approximately 0.66 lb (300 g), the Yuwell Pocket-X provides CPAP and Auto CPAP (APAP) therapy in a highly portable format. The Pocket-X works with compatible standard CPAP tubing and masks, allowing users to select their preferred interface rather than relying on a proprietary travel-mask ecosystem.
The F&P Solo Nasal takes a very different approach to mask fitting. Fisher & Paykel Healthcare describes Solo as the world's first AutoFit™ PAP mask. Instead of manually adjusting several conventional straps, the user simply stretches the mask over the head, positions the cushion beneath the nose and uses a gentle push to fine-tune the fit.
AutoLock™ technology then maintains the adjustment while you sleep. This makes the Solo Nasal particularly attractive for travelers, new CPAP users, people who tend to overtighten their masks, and anyone who wants a simpler nightly routine.
Why We Paired the Pocket-X with the F&P Solo Nasal
Travel therapy should be simple. A compact machine is only part of that equation — the mask also needs to be easy to pack, quick to put on and straightforward to readjust in an unfamiliar sleeping environment.
The Solo Nasal is exceptionally well suited to this purpose because it eliminates much of the conventional strap adjustment associated with traditional CPAP masks.
Its AutoFit™ headgear automatically adapts around the head, while the AutoLock™ mechanism maintains the selected position. Fine-tuning can be performed simply by pushing the cushion slightly toward the face or pulling it gently away.
The cushion itself sits underneath the nose, leaving the nasal bridge and upper portion of the face open.
Combined with the Pocket-X and included waterless HME humidification, the result is a compact travel system built around both portability and ease of use.

World's First AutoFit™ PAP Mask
The most important feature of the Solo is not simply its cushion — it is the way the entire mask fits.
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare developed Solo as the world's first AutoFit™ PAP mask.
There are no conventional side straps that need to be repeatedly opened, tightened, loosened and rebalanced each night.
Instead, fitting follows three simple principles:
- Fit: Stretch the mask over the head.
- Touch: Position the cushion beneath the nose and gently adjust it.
- Sleep: AutoLock™ technology maintains the selected position.
AutoLock™ Technology Helps Prevent Overtightening
One common CPAP mask problem is overtightening. Users often assume that more strap tension will automatically eliminate leakage, but excessive tension can distort a cushion and actually make the seal worse.
The Solo's AutoLock™ headgear is designed to maintain its adjustment without requiring the user to continually tighten conventional straps.
F&P specifically identifies this system as potentially useful for people who tend to overtighten traditional masks.
One-Touch Adjustment During the Night
If the mask needs fine-tuning, adjustment is exceptionally simple.
The cushion can be moved toward the face with a gentle push or slightly away from the face to loosen the fit.
This means a user can make small adjustments in bed without completely removing the mask or manually rebalancing multiple straps.
Dynamic Support Technology™ Nasal Cushion
Solo Nasal uses F&P's Dynamic Support Technology™ within its compact under-the-nose cushion.
The cushion is designed to provide freedom of movement while maintaining a comfortable seal beneath the nose.
Unlike nasal pillows, the Solo Nasal cushion does not need to sit inside the nostrils. Instead, it provides a broader sub-nasal sealing surface.
No Pressure Across the Nasal Bridge
The Solo Nasal cushion sits beneath the nostrils.
This leaves the bridge of the nose completely uncovered and reduces facial contact compared with traditional over-the-nose nasal masks.
It can be especially attractive to users who experience pressure marks or irritation around the upper nose from conventional nasal cushions.
One Mask Platform — Nasal or Nasal Pillows
Another major advantage of the Solo platform is that Solo Nasal and Solo Pillows cushions are interchangeable on the same headgear and frame system.
This means a Solo Nasal user who later wants to try nasal pillows does not need to replace the entire mask system.
The compatible Solo Pillows cushions are available in Small, Medium and Large.
One-Size Auto-Adjusting Headgear
Solo uses a single headgear size across the mask platform.
F&P states that the one-size Solo headgear works with all Solo Nasal and Solo Pillows cushion sizes.
This simplifies ordering replacement components and eliminates separate Small, Standard and Large headgear configurations.
Clinical Validation Focused on Ease of Use
Fisher & Paykel specifically evaluated Solo around ease of setup and use.
In F&P's internal validation studies:
- 93% of users rated their Solo experience as simple or very simple.
- 95% of users were able to set themselves up without assistance.
Those characteristics are particularly useful for a travel mask, where users need equipment that can be quickly unpacked, fitted and adjusted without complicated setup.
Published Solo Nasal Noise Level
F&P publishes an A-weighted sound pressure level of 23.6 dB(A) ± 2.5 dB for the Solo mask.
Published sound power is 31.5 dB(A) ± 2.5 dB.
While the Solo is not as acoustically quiet as diffuser-equipped masks such as the Brevida or Eson 2, it remains a relatively quiet interface with an integrated exhaust system and no separate diffuser component to pack or maintain.
Published Solo Nasal Resistance to Flow
Fisher & Paykel publishes the following pressure-drop values for the Solo Nasal cushion system:
- 0.8 ± 0.5 cmH₂O at 50 L/min
- 2.9 ± 1.0 cmH₂O at 100 L/min
Solo Nasal Dead Space by Cushion Size
| Nasal Cushion | Published Dead Space |
|---|---|
| Small | 29.6 cm³ |
| Medium | 26.8 cm³ |
| Large | 31.1 cm³ |
| Wide | 36.9 cm³ |
Published Exhaust Flow
Like all vented PAP masks, the Solo intentionally releases a controlled amount of air to flush exhaled carbon dioxide from the mask.
| Therapy Pressure | Nominal Exhaust Flow |
|---|---|
| 4 cmH₂O | 15 L/min |
| 8 cmH₂O | 25 L/min |
| 10 cmH₂O | 29 L/min |
| 12 cmH₂O | 34 L/min |
| 16 cmH₂O | 42 L/min |
| 20 cmH₂O | 49 L/min |
These values represent intentional mask vent flow and should not be confused with unwanted mask leakage.
Designed for 4–20 cmH₂O Therapy
The Solo mask is specified for PAP therapy between 4 and 20 cmH₂O.
This directly matches the published 4–20 cmH₂O operating range of the Yuwell Pocket-X, making the two products especially well aligned in this bundle.
Open Field of Vision
With the cushion positioned beneath the nose and no forehead support, very little equipment sits in front of the eyes.
Users can generally wear glasses, read, watch television or use a phone while wearing the Solo Nasal.
Minimal Facial Contact
Solo eliminates conventional cheek straps and bulky upper-face mask components.
This creates a very open mask profile that may appeal to users who dislike the feeling of conventional headgear or experience claustrophobia with larger interfaces.
No Magnetic Components
Fisher & Paykel Healthcare confirms that its PAP masks, including the F&P Solo, do not contain magnets.
Not Made with Natural Rubber Latex or DEHP
F&P specifies that the Solo mask and its accessories are not made with natural rubber latex or DEHP.
Waterless Travel Humidification Included
Heated CPAP humidification can add extra equipment and generally requires access to distilled water.
Every SleepEZ Pocket-X Travel Bundle therefore includes 4 compatible Transcend Heat-Moisture Exchange (HME) units.
HME technology captures some of the warmth and moisture contained in exhaled breath and returns a portion of that moisture during inhalation, creating a compact waterless CPAP humidification option.
No water chamber. No distilled-water bottle in your luggage. Less equipment to carry.

How to Fit the F&P Solo Nasal Mask
Solo fitting is intentionally different from conventional CPAP masks.
- Begin with the appropriate Small, Medium or Large nasal cushion.
- Stretch the AutoFit™ headgear over the head.
- Position the nasal cushion comfortably underneath the nostrils.
- Use a gentle push toward the face to increase the fit if needed.
- Pull the cushion slightly away if the mask feels too tight.
- Allow AutoLock™ technology to maintain the selected adjustment.
- Connect the Solo short tube to your CPAP tubing.
- Turn therapy on and check the seal while lying in your normal sleeping position.
Your nose should not sit inside the opening of the Solo Nasal cushion. The cushion is designed to seal underneath the nose.
Avoid overtightening. Solo's AutoFit™ and AutoLock™ system is specifically designed to maintain the fit without excessive manual strap tension.

Solo Cleaning & Maintenance
Follow Fisher & Paykel Healthcare's current manufacturer instructions when cleaning the cushion, headgear, frame and tubing assembly.
The exhaust holes should remain clean and unobstructed so exhaled carbon dioxide can be properly flushed from the mask.
If the Solo headgear stops retracting normally, F&P recommends thoroughly washing the headgear in warm soapy water. This may restore the AutoLock™ function.
Replace headgear if it no longer retracts after cleaning, stretches beyond adjustment or is no longer able to maintain an effective seal.
