Inogen Rove 6 Replacement Sieve Beds / Column Pair – RP-502

OEM Replacement Columns for the Inogen Rove 6 Portable Oxygen Concentrator

Keep your Inogen Rove 6 producing reliable, high-concentration oxygen with genuine Inogen replacement sieve beds.

The RP-502 Replacement Column Pair, commonly called sieve beds, contains the molecular sieve material responsible for separating nitrogen from room air so your portable oxygen concentrator can produce concentrated oxygen.

Over time, the sieve material naturally loses efficiency. The Inogen Rove 6 monitors column life and will display a “Replace Columns” notification when replacement is required.

Important: Rove 6 vs. Inogen One G5 Columns

Although the Inogen Rove 6 and Inogen One G5 are different generations of portable oxygen concentrators, they use the SAME replacement column assembly: RP-502.

There is no separate Rove 6-specific version of RP-502.

This column pair is compatible with:

  • Inogen Rove 6

  • Inogen One G5

It is NOT compatible with:

  • Inogen Rove 4

  • Inogen One G4

  • Inogen One G3

  • Inogen At Home

  • Other Inogen concentrator models

If you own a Rove 6, RP-502 is the correct replacement sieve-bed assembly.

What's Included

1 × Complete OEM Inogen RP-502 Replacement Column Pair

Both sieve columns are supplied together as one replacement assembly and are ready for installation.

Why Do Sieve Beds Need to Be Replaced?

Portable oxygen concentrators draw ordinary room air into the machine and use specialized molecular sieve material to remove nitrogen.

As the sieve material ages and is exposed to normal environmental moisture and operating conditions, its ability to separate nitrogen can gradually decline.

Fresh columns help the Rove 6 maintain:

  • Proper oxygen concentration

  • Reliable oxygen delivery

  • Efficient concentrator operation

  • Expected device performance

Your Rove 6 is designed to monitor the columns and alert you when replacement is required.

Easy User-Replaceable Design

One of the advantages of the Inogen Rove 6 is that the sieve beds are designed to be replaced without sending the concentrator away for routine service.

The RP-502 column assembly is user replaceable and requires no specialized tools.

After installing the new columns, follow the device instructions to reset the column-life indicator.

Replacement Interval

Inogen recommends replacing the columns approximately every 12 months, although actual lifespan can vary depending on:

  • Amount of concentrator use

  • Environmental humidity

  • Dust and airborne contaminants

  • Storage conditions

  • Operating environment

The most important indicator is the “Replace Columns” alert displayed by your Rove 6.

Rove 6 vs. G5 Sieve Beds – What's the Difference?

For the replacement columns themselves: essentially none.

The Rove 6 is the newer generation of Inogen's six-setting portable oxygen concentrator, but Inogen retained compatibility with the RP-502 column assembly used by the Inogen One G5.

So if you previously purchased G5 RP-502 sieve beds, those same genuine Inogen columns are compatible with the Rove 6.

Do not confuse these with Rove 4/G4 columns — those models use a different column assembly.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the Rove 6 sieve beds different from the G5 sieve beds?

No. The Inogen Rove 6 and Inogen One G5 both use the RP-502 replacement column pair. Inogen lists the same OEM column assembly as compatible with both concentrators.

What does RP-502 mean?

RP-502 is Inogen's part number for the replacement sieve-bed/column assembly used in the Rove 6 and Inogen One G5.

How do I know when my Rove 6 needs new sieve beds?

Your concentrator will display a “Replace Columns” alert when the columns are approaching the end of their expected service life.

Can I change the Rove 6 columns myself?

Yes. The Rove 6 is designed with user-replaceable columns, allowing routine column replacement without sending the concentrator away for servicing.

Do I receive one column or two?

You receive one complete pair of columns. Both columns are replaced together.

Will replacing the sieve beds fix a low-oxygen-concentration warning?

Worn sieve beds can contribute to reduced oxygen purity, and replacing columns when instructed is part of normal Rove 6 maintenance. However, persistent oxygen-concentration or device alarms should be assessed according to the manufacturer's instructions or by your oxygen equipment provider.

Are these compatible with the Rove 4?

No. The Rove 4 uses a different column kit. RP-502 is intended for the Rove 6 and Inogen One G5.

SleepEZ Tip

If your Rove 6 is beginning to display a Replace Columns notification, ordering the replacement set before the current columns reach the end of their service life can help prevent unnecessary interruption to your portable oxygen therapy.
