Why are your sleep testing prices lower than competitors?
At SleepEZ, we’re committed to keeping care accessible. We maintain low overhead costs and pass those savings directly to our patients—without compromising quality. Our home sleep tests are interpreted by the same licensed physicians who review studies from major clinics and labs.
Because we’ve diversified our services across respiratory therapy, diagnostics, and education, we’re able to support patients in multiple ways—efficiently and affordably. Quality care doesn’t have to come with a premium price tag.
Why are online sales only available online and not in-store?
Our online store is designed for ongoing, low-cost purchases for customers who already know what works best for their therapy. It’s perfect if you want convenient access to supplies at competitive prices without extra services.
In contrast, our in-store experience offers personalized care with a licensed respiratory therapist who can review your overall therapy, provide expert advice, and even offer mask fittings and trials to find the best fit for you. This valuable hands-on service comes with a cost but ensures you get the most effective and comfortable therapy possible.
Additionally, when you visit us in-store, we assist with insurance coverage to help minimize any out-of-pocket expenses for your CPAP supply packages. We provide very attractive packages both for your therapy and your wallet.

Do I need an appointment?
All visits to our clinic are by appointment only. We suggest calling ahead of time or booking online to ensure a staff member will be able to assist you.
Am I eligible for the Assistive Devices Progam CPAP / BiPAP funding if I perform a Home Sleep Test?
Unfortunately, no—the Assistive Devices Program (ADP) offered by the Ontario Ministry of Health requires a full Level 1 Sleep Lab study to qualify for funding.
This means that while Home Sleep Testing can be a very fast, accurate and convenient way to diagnose sleep apnea, it does not meet the criteria for the ADP's subsidy and financial assistance of $415.50 toward a CPAP machine or $712.50 toward a BiPAP machine.
If ADP funding is important for your therapy plan, speak with your healthcare provider about a referral for an in-lab Level 1 sleep study. In the meantime, SleepEZ offers additional support options to help bridge the funding gap when ADP isn't applicable.

What is the Refund and Return Policy?
Due to the medical and hygienic nature of our products, all sales are final. We are unable to accept returns or offer refunds on any items once they have been purchased.
This policy helps us ensure the highest standards of health and safety for all customers.
If you receive a product that is damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery/ Pick Up, and we will gladly assist with a replacement.
How long is the wait for a Sleep Lab Test?
Level 1 Sleep Lab testing in Ontario can involve wait times of 6 months to over a year.
At SleepEZ Home Health, we offer no-wait Home Sleep Testing—the same approach used routinely across other provinces in Canada.

Does ODSP cover CPAP or BiPAP therapy?
ODSP clients may be eligible for assistance with CPAP, APAP or BiPAP therapy and related supplies, while eligible equipment may also be funded through Ontario’s Assistive Devices Program (ADP). Because approval requirements vary, please contact SleepEZ before starting therapy or purchasing equipment so we can review your prescription and help coordinate the required paperwork and pre-approval process.
Are the CPAP machines sold online eligible for ADP?
The Assistive Devices Program (ADP) has a strict approval and documentation process. To be eligible for the Ontario government subsidy on CPAP or BiPAP therapy, patients must go through an in-person assessment with an ADP-authorized vendor.
Online or out-of-province purchases do not qualify for ADP funding, and any machines bought outside this process will not be reimbursed.
When ADP is applicable, our team ensures all requirements are met, from physician documentation to therapy monitoring and final reporting—so you receive the maximum benefit with minimal stress.

I live in Ontario, will my insurance cover the CPAP and BiPAP machines?
In Ontario, when a Level 1 Sleep Lab Study is performed, CPAP and BiPAP machines are partially funded by the Assistive Devices Program (ADP), which contributes $415.50 for APAP/CPAP and $712.50 for BiPAP. Due to this subsidy, private insurance reimbursements are typically limited with or without ADP, even if your policy offers 100% coverage.

Do Insurance companies cover CPAP accessories like masks and tubes?
Most private insurance plans offer coverage for CPAP and BiPAP accessories, including masks, tubing, filters, humidifiers, and more.

Do you direct bill insurance companies?
We always look for ways to assist our clients. While not all insurance companies allow direct billing for CPAP equipment, we’re proud to offer direct billing support for providers, such as:

For all other insurance plans, a pay-and-submit process is typically required. However, we guide you through every step by providing detailed receipts, required documentation, and personalized claim support to help make reimbursement as simple and stress-free as possible. We strongly believe in a “No Surprises” approach, ensuring you clearly understand coverage, expected costs, and available options before moving forward with therapy.
If you reside in British Columbia, Alberta, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, we are able to assist with clarification of coverage and direct billing for the entire CPAP package, including helping obtain and organize the required paperwork and documentation for insurance approval.

I live in Quebec can I do a home sleep test?
Yes! In Quebec, and all western and Atlantic provinces, Home Sleep Apnea Testing (HSAT) is the standard first step for diagnosing sleep-disordered breathing.
If your results show a moderate or higher level of sleep apnea, most private insurance plans will cover some or all of the cost of a CPAP machine and supplies. It’s a fast, convenient, and cost-effective way to get answers and start treatment if needed. We will assist you every step of the way!
Isn’t it a conflict of interest that you diagnose sleep apnea and also sell CPAP equipment?
That’s a great question—and a valid concern.
At SleepEZ Home Health, we follow strict ethical standards to ensure clinical objectivity and transparency at every step. Our Home Sleep Apnea Tests (HSATs) are scored and interpreted by independent, third-party sleep physicians and diagnostic service providers. We do not have any authority to alter, influence, or interpret your sleep data ourselves.
This model is not unique to us—in fact, across Canada, the USA, the UK, Japan, and many other countries, HSATs are now the standard for diagnosing sleep-disordered breathing through companies that sell CPAP and BiPAP equipment. HSATs are cost-effective, accessible, and accurate, especially for moderate to severe Obstructive Sleep Apnea.
Once a diagnosis is confirmed by a licensed physician, we simply help patients navigate therapy options, insurance coverage, and long-term compliance—just like any other pharmacy or healthcare supplier would following a doctor’s prescription.
You can rest easy knowing our role in diagnosis is fully independent and transparent—your health comes first.
Is same-day pickup available?
Yes! For customers in the Ottawa region, same-day pickup is available for many products. To confirm stock at your preferred location, please give us a call at 613-777-9907 before purchase & coming in.

Will I Pay Taxes or Duties on My International Order?
We do not charge Canadian taxes on international orders. Where applicable, import VAT, duties, and customs fees are now calculated and collected at checkout to help avoid unexpected charges upon delivery.
CPAP machines and supplies are generally classified under HS Code 9019.20, which is commonly recognized for medical respiratory equipment and may qualify for reduced or duty-free treatment in certain regions depending on local regulations.
For all international shipments, customers will see any applicable VAT, duties, or import fees clearly displayed during checkout based on the destination country’s current import requirements.
Examples of commonly applied import VAT rates include:
• United Kingdom: 20% VAT
• Germany: 19% VAT
• France: 20% VAT
• Ireland (Republic of Ireland): 23% VAT
• Cayman Islands: Typically 0% import tax
All shipments are properly declared under HS Code 9019.20 to support smooth customs clearance and compliance with international import regulations.
